A quiet visitor
So I was trimming a tree last weekend to protect a nearby power line, and it left a huge pile of foliage on the ground about 50 feet from my office window. This morning I heard some bluebirds busily crying out for at least a minute straight (which isn't normal) and figured I'd take a look to see what all the fuss was about. I looked over near the sound and saw the top of this deer peeking out above the brush. You can just barely see his ears poking above the branches in the center. I tried to get a better shot, but he disappeared by the time I got near.

yeah! so how's the semester (quarter?) going? what classes are you taking now?
One time when B and I were in Colorado, we saw deer really close up like that. So cool...I'm always amazed at how quiet they are.
